Bill Vochoska has placed well over 100 attorneys since the year 2000, chiefly partners of critical importance to companies and investors in technology-oriented industries.

His track record demonstrates a high level of recruiting expertise and success within a unique niche: partners in patent litigation, technology M&A, and related practice areas who primarily serve clients in the high technology and life science sectors.

Beyond recruiting individual partners, Bill has placed many partner groups and merged small to mid-sized law firms. He has launched offices for several AmLaw 100 firms in the United States and overseas, including K&L Gates, Goodwin Procter, Kaye Scholer, and others.

Bill believes that no partner can ultimately resist an opportunity whose time has come. He has placed partners who had been at the same firm for over twenty years, as well as those who had been actively serving as office managing partners, practice leaders, and in other positions of authority at the moment they made the decision to join another law firm.

Bill was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. He earned a BS degree from Boston University and a JD/MBA from the University of Southern California before practicing law in Beverly Hills and Santa Monica, California. In 1999 he joined a veteran recruiter who had opened a new search firm the year before. Bill spent the next 11 years building that search firm to national prominence. He placed his first IP partner in 2001 and his first IP group in 2002. At the end of 2010, he chose to create a unique partner search firm that would serve law firms and partners in the technology sector better than any other search firm in the country. With Lex Rex Partners, Bill continues his nearly 16-year track record of success.
